Registration
There are two registration options for participants.
-
Register and fundraise for the Walk to Fight Arthritis.
Participants can fundraise and waive their registration fee. The suggested fundraising amount is $100 (adults) or $60 (students). -
Register and pay the registration fee.
The registration fee for adults (19+) is $25 and the fee for students (13-18) is $10. Children under the age of 12 are free, but are encouraged to fundraise. Registration fees are non-refundable and no tax receipt will be provided.
Registration fees help to offset costs associated with the event. This way, the funds raised are allocated towards research, education, programs and services.
Registering others
If you are a team captain or choose to register other Walk participants using your email address, please note that you will receive multiple email communications for each registrant.
In order to avoid receiving multiple messages we recommend:
- Using the participant's email address instead of your own.
- If you do not have their email address, upon completion of registration encourage those that you registered to change their email information through the Profile section of the Participant Centre.
- Opt out of receiving communications from the Walk to Fight Arthritis when creating secondary registrations. *Please note that important Walk to Fight Arthritis information is provided in our e-communications and a registrant may risk missing out on details about the event.
Please Note: All registered participants will receive action oriented messages, for example – “you have received a donation”. If you register others with your email address, you will receive these messages for everyone tied to your email. These communications cannot be opted out of as they are system-generated emails.
