The Arthritis Society would like to thank all of the individuals and teams who came out and supported The Walk to Fight Arthritis on Sunday, June 8, 2013!

Thanks to your hard work and dedication The Walk to Fight Arthritis raised almost $1.7 million for research, education and support programs.

We would like to congratulate this year’s National Top Individual, Community Team and Corporate Team winners.

National Top Individual Fundraiser Award Winner

Congratulations to Kathy Hatton from Kelowna, BC, who raised an impressive $11,800.00, for The Walk to Fight Arthritis.

As thanks for her outstanding fundraising efforts and commitment to creating a future without arthritis, Kathy received a $2,500 travel prize.

National Top Community Team Fundraiser Award Winner

A big thank you to Derek’s Destroyers from Kitchener, ON. Derek and his team raised an amazing $19,487.74 for The Walk!

The team was presented with a commemorative plaque and received a $1000 gift certificate to a local restaurant.

National Top Corporate Team Fundraiser Award Winner

Congratulations to this year’s Top Corporate Fundraising Team, The Westeinde Walkers , Ottawa, ON, for their efforts in raising $7085.00 for The Walk.

The team was presented with a commemorative plaque and received a $1000 gift certificate to a local restaurant.

National Top Community Connector Award Winner

The Juvenile Jumpers from Halifax, NS won this year's Top Community Connector Award. A big thank you goes out to the 32 committed team members who banded together to raise a grand total of $10,146.50 for this year's Walk!

The Juvenile Jumpers were presented with a commemorative plaque and received a $1000 Future Shop gift card.
